Fast Algorithm for Reducing Intraprediction Resolution

摘要: 随着H.264视频编码标准的应用,转换编码的难度也越来越高. 为了提高帧内编码图像分辨率减小的速度,提出了一种基于方向性的快速算法. 实验结果表明,该算法在很少的图像质量损失下能节省23%的重新编码时间,从而提高了转换编码的实时性及带宽变换能力.Abstract: With the implementation of the new video coding standard H.264, there appeared higher demands in spatial resolution transcoding in H.264. Present here a fast algorithm based on direction in intra frame downsizing in H.264, which can improve the speed of reducing intra-prediction frame resolution. Experiments showed that this algorithm can speed up 23 percent transcoding time in intra-prediction frame in H.264 with slight PSNR degradation. It gives certain improvement in real-time for transcoding and ability of changing in bandwidths.
