Nonlinear Model and First Order Approximate Solution of a Free Piston Generator

  • 摘要: 为分析自由活塞发电机的动力学过程,提出一个可解析求解的动力学模型.根据自由活塞发电机的动力和负载特性,建立了自由活塞发电机动力学过程的非线性模型,利用能量平衡原理得到了该非线性模型的一次近似解.结果表明:自由活塞发电机系统为典型的自激系统,存在一个稳定极限环;系统的稳定运行频率由燃烧室内气体的非线性刚度、燃烧能量及速度共同决定,并且后者为主导因素.

     

    Abstract: For the analysis of the dynamic process of free piston generator (FPG), a nonlinear dynamic model that can be solved analytically was proposed, considering the load characteristics of the FPG. Energy equilibrium method was applied to achieve the first order approximate solution of the model and through which, the principle of operation and frequency characteristics of the FPG was disclosed. The FPGis a self-oscillation system with a steady limit cycle and the stable operation frequency of FPG is decided by the nonlinear stiffness and burning energy and speed of the gas in the cylinder. Moreover, the latter is proved to be a more dominant factor.
