掺铒光纤激光器线宽压缩技术的研究

A Study of Line-Width Compression for an Er-Doped Optical Fiber Laser

  • 摘要: 研究掺铒光纤激光器上实现的超窄线宽单模激光输出. 对复合环形腔压缩激光线宽的原理进行了理论分析,讨论了有源复合环形腔参数对激光理论极限线宽产生的影响,并对影响激光线宽的关键参数进行了实验验证,获得了稳定的单纵模激光输出,其线宽小于100Hz,输出最大功率可达2.779mW.

     

    Abstract: Presents a new experimental result of an extreme narrow spectral line-width of single mode output obtained from an Er-doped optical fiber laser. Compress on of line-width by compound ring structure is theoretically analyzed. The influence of active compound ring structure parameters on the extreme line-width is discussed. Experimental results demonstrated that the linewidth of the single longitudinal mode output was less than 100 Hz. The maximum output power is 2.779 mW.
