Abstract: An architecture of semantic Web portal is designed. The concept of page agent is proposed and implemented in a homogeneous environment. The system employs a new Web query language CDQL, which is an extension of the well-known query language DQL with constraints and across-information-source querying. The system can be used to construct enterprise Web systems, which can automatically answer questions from users and user agents.
