膨胀型双环笼状磷酸酯阻燃乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物的研究

A Study on EVA Flame-Retarded with Intumescent Flame Retardants Containing Caged Bicyclic Phosphates

  • 摘要: 以自行合成的两种双环笼状磷酸酯Trimer和PEPA为基的膨胀型阻燃剂阻燃乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物(EVA),测定了阻燃EVA的LOI和UL-94阻燃性能,并利用锥形量热仪(CONE)测试了其释热速率(HRR)、总释热量(THR)、质量损失速率(MLR)、生烟量(TSP)及有毒气体释放量等多种阻燃参数.阻燃EVA与纯EVA相比,HRR,THR及MLR分别降低50%~70%,30%~40%及50%,具有良好的阻燃效果.此外,燃烧时生成均匀而致密的闭孔结构炭层,孔径大约在5~30μm之间,孔壁为6~9μm.燃烧残

     

    Abstract: EVA was flame-retarded with IFR containing caged bicyclic phosphates--Trimer and PEPA. When the add-on IFR-P amount is about 30%, the flame-retarded EVA45 possesses an LOI of about 30% and a UL-94 V-0 grade. The heat release rate (HRR), total heat release (THR), mass loss rate (MLR) and the generation of smoke and toxic gases etc. of the flame-retarded EVA were measured. Compared with pure EVA, HRR, THR and MLR of the flame-retarded EVA are decreased by a factor of 50%~70%, 30%~40% and about 50%, respectively. In addition, a char layer can form during the combustion of flame-retarded EVA and the char layer shows a closed-cell structure with diameters of 5~30 μm and wall thickness of 6~9 μm. The laminated char with graphite-like structure forms during combustion.
