Abstract:
Aim To improve the storage stability of emulsion explosive with a polymer additive. Methods High and low temperature circulation test, DSC and static life test were used. Results A composition of excellent storage stability has been obtained, and technological conditions and composition components of it have been optimized. Conclusion The emulsion explosive with the polymer additive has better storage stability than the one without the additive. It is shown that the additive does not have obvious influence on detonation properties.
