Abstract: Aim To develop a computer integrated application system for managing and designing manufacture equipments used in the process of manufacture.Methods Based on the unified manufacture equipment data base, the system was set up integrating systems of computer aided management and design for manufacture equipments in the computer network environment. Results All departments related to manufacture equipments in the factory can acquire the information about them in the network environment.Designers can decide to design a new manufacture equipment or to use a similar one existing in the data base partly or completely. Conclusion By this way, the utilization ratio of manufacture equipments is raised and the production cost drops off.
