Abstract: A spring driven gyroscope derives its power from the potentinl energy slotal in a spiral spring giving rise to a high rotational sped. The key element of a spring driven gyroscope is the spiral spring housed within the rotor of a gyroscope. The analysis and experiments indicate that the spring driven gyroscope is capable of realizing fast starting up.
