Abstract: A new hoe of contactless acoustic emission sensor is presented. Using air as the signal conducting medium. it can conveniently be used as the monitor of tool damage and wear. Experiments show that it has high sensitivity and anti-disturbance ability. It can be ed in other montioring cases applying AE.
