Abstract: A Kind of new fast median filterin algorithm is put forward.The number of comparisons in the algorithm is directly proportional to the difference of median between the old window and the new one,and the algorithm avoids a large number of data comparison in the conventional algorithm.With computer simulation,the algorithm ho greatly increased the processing speed.
