Abstract:
A method has been developed for estimating the hings moments of all-movable controls as utilized on platform or curciform missiles with canared for and tail fius at supersonic speed.This is a hybrid method combining analytical means and engineeriug method with data-base information based on the equivalent angle-of-attack concetp.Comparison between prediction and the hinge moments data shows good agreement and that the method can fulfill the requirements for the preliminary design of missiles.
