Abstract: Describes experiments on thermal explosion of two plastic-bonded explosives:JH9105 and JO9159,in unconfined systems.The experimental results of thermal explosion under different ambient temperatures are presented and shown to be consistent with those obtainable from conventional thermal explosion theory.
