Abstract: On the basis of an analysis and verification on the circular symmetry of circular beam deflectors this paper presents a new circular beam deflector consisting of four roof-Dove prisms.The new prism system is compact and rational in its structure.Circular symmetry of the new prism is more evidently shown and it has some external forms to fit every kind of optical instruments.
