Abstract: A multi-parameter folding line distribution is presented,which can be utilized to express both symmetric and asymmetric distributions usually met with in precision analysis.The relationship existing between its parameters and statistic characters and that between coefficients of skewness and kurtosis as against the asymmetric and distribution coefficients are obtained.The results of many examples of application show its utility.
