Abstract: A HPLC method for the separation of pentaerythritol and quantitativedetermination of monopentaerythritol has been studied in detail. Monopentaerythritol purity in standard sample was determined. Monopentaerythritol content of commercial pentaerythritol was determined by the method using external standard calibration. The relative standard deviation was less than 1%.
