Abstract: A speed control scheme for self-controlled synchronous motors are presented .A sine signal to control the armature current of a synchronous motor is obtained by applying the Walsh transform to a square ware , generated by measureing the anqular displacement of the synchronous motor with a code disc . Simplicity of the control circuit and high precision are among some merits of this scheme .
