Abstract: Two new methods for the synthesis of bis ( 1, 2-dimethyl ethylene-1, 2 dithiolato ) nickel have teen developed. One is the method of low tempera-ture-H2S, the other is that of diketone. These methods have found applications in the syntheses of ( RCSCSR')2M.
