Abstract:
To address the problems of limited research on evaluating team collaboration capabilities in the military and the weak linkage with combat tasks, a multi-crew collaboration effectiveness evaluation method based on the fuzzy analytic network process (FANP) was developed, using armored vehicle crew collaboration as the context. First, complex collaborative tasks were decomposed hierarchically into a “high cohesion, low coupling” task set to define capability requirements. Then, leveraging team workload theory, a collaborative effectiveness index system was established, and FANP was used to model the intricate interdependencies among indice, enabling evaluation through capability satisfaction analysis and visual capability mapping. Finally, a scenario-based case study validated the method’s usability and effectiveness, demonstrating its ability to accurately reveal strengths and gaps in collaboration, optimize team composition, and support dynamic strategy adjustments for enhanced operational performance.
