软、硬段共改性无卤阻燃水性聚氨酯的热分析及阻燃性能

Thermal Decomposition and Flame Retardancy of the Soft and Hard Segment Co-Modified Halogen-Free Flame-Retardant Waterborne Polyurethanes

  • 摘要: 以甲苯二异氰酸酯(TDI)、二羟甲基丙酸(DMPA)、聚醚(N-210) 为预聚体单体,以N'N-双(2-羟甲基)氨基乙基膦酸二甲酯(Fyrol-6) 和含磷多元醇OP550作为硬、软段阻燃扩链剂,合成了硬、软段共改性含磷水性聚氨酯(FOWPU). TG分析发现,含磷阻燃剂的加入,使得聚氨酯材料各阶段热分解温度降低,但残炭率随OP550质量分数的增加而大幅升高;TG-IR测试结果表明磷氮协效阻燃剂使得聚氨酯材料热分解时气相不燃气体浓度增大;通过极限氧指数(LOI)、垂直燃烧测试(UL-94)测试考察了FOWPU的阻燃性能. 研究表明:FOWPU具有良好的阻燃性,当Fyrol-6质量分数为15%、OP550质量分数为15%时,材料的氧指数LOI达到30.4%,残炭率为15.10%,垂直燃烧(UL-94)测试达到V-0级(最优级).

     

    Abstract: A group of co-modified phosphorus-containing waterborne polyurethanes(FOWPU) was synthesized by N'N-bis (2-hydroxymethyl) aminoethyl phosphonic acid dimethyl ester(Fyrol-6) and Exolit OP550 reacted with toluene diisocynate. The performance of the FOWPU was studied with limiting oxygen index (LOI), thermo-gravimetric analysis(TG), thermal gravimetric analysis with a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (TG-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The results show that when the mass fraction of Fyrol-6 and OP550 is 15%, LOI of FOWPU15 is 30.4% and UL-94 achieve a V-0 classification.Compared with the unmodified waterborne polyurethane, the thermo-decomposition temperature of the FOWPU is reduced, but the amount of carbon residue is increased to 15.10%. Phase separation with increasing flame retardant content showes regular changes.
