摘要: 通过对唐代科学技术史研究的学术史考察，可以确定唐代行业技术取得了众多突破性的进步，从而生发出唐后期奠基于文化繁荣基础上的新经济成长方式。科技启蒙教育、科技实科学校、科技人才选拔任用制度及创新精神指归，构成了唐代科学文化的独特内涵。科学史研究者就唐代所取得的科学技术成就，认为唐代科技的创新与持续发展已使古代科技达到成熟阶段，对唐代科技的整体水平进行了实事求是的评估。唐代的人文主义氛围是浓厚的，而其不乏科学文化氛围也是可以肯定的。
