Abstract:
With the vigorous development of China’s cultural industry and the continuous improvement of the level of rule of law in the cultural and entertainment field, the cultural and entertainment law has emerged and continues to mature. China’s cultural and entertainment law has its own distinctive characteristics. As far as its adjustment scope is concerned, it includes two major areas of cultural undertakings and cultural industries; as far as its legal principles are concerned, it includes four basic principles, including the unification of social and economic benefits; in terms of legal practice, it mainly includes four main aspects: industry supervision, intellectual property rights, protection of personality rights, investment, financing and insurance. In the future, the cultural and entertainment law will face many challenges brought about by the age of digitization, networking, and intelligence.
