Abstract: The Communist Party of China is a modern political party that builds the country and governs the party by culture. Cultural construction has always been a historical subject of the struggle and practice of the Chinese Communists. Over the past century, in the great practice of promoting the cultural development and prosperity of the Chinese nation’s culture, The Communist Party of China has formed a series of regular understandings of cultural construction: at the ideological level, we must fully realize the significance of cultural construction for the benign development of the party and the country; in the pursuit of cultural values, we must always adhere to the people-centered principle, and earnestly implement the fundamental tenet of serving the people wholeheartedly to the level of cultural practice; in terms of cultural practice, we must properly handle the relationship between cultural inheritance and cultural innovation, and take the new modern socialist cultural form as the foothold of cultural practice; in the direction of cultural development, we must make efforts to enhance the soft power of Chinese culture and strengthen our cultural confidence.
