Abstract:
The elderly public cultural consumption patterns are the most important basis for public cultural construction and older people's cultural endowment enterprise. With Tianjin as an example, the study found that in addition to the effects of physical, psychological and education backgrounds, traditional culture and regional economy are also the main factors influencing the elderly public cultural consumption patterns. The consumption patterns not only show differentiation, but also demonstrate the homogeneity trend. Theatre, opera, teahouse crosstalk, street folk arts and the folk traditional culture are the core consumption patterns besides street dance, chess, boxing, sword, cycling and other recreational exercises. The older people play a really key role in culture heritage development. Therefore, in the aging society, it is an inevitable tendency to build city public culture system according to the elderly's public culture consumption demand.
